Melton City Council is seeking a Senior Executive Officer to lead organisational development and workforce capability for a fast‑growing Australian council. The role focuses on strategic design, delivery and evaluation of OD initiatives that strengthen leadership and culture across the organisation.

You will work closely with the executive team to drive people strategy, capability programs and performance outcomes, while ensuring governance and data integrity across OD activities.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in a public sector or local government.
• Ability to design and implement organisation development initiatives.
• Strong governance and data integrity capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

• Lead enterprise-wide organisational development initiatives aligned to the People Strategy.
• Provide expert advice on organisation design, talent management, change management and culture.
• Ensure governance and data integrity across OD activities.
• Develop and support a high-performing Organisational Development team.
• Design and deliver leadership development and capability programs.
• Partner with executive leaders to shape people strategy and outcomes.
• Exercise delegated financial authority within budget.
• Identify risks and opportunities for the Executive Leadership Team.
