Job summary

Melton City Council is seeking a Senior Executive Officer – Organisational Development Coordinator to design, deliver and evaluate evidence‑based OD initiatives that strengthen capability and leadership across a rapidly growing council.

As a trusted partner to leaders, you will drive organisational effectiveness, enable cultural uplift and ensure exceptional outcomes for Melton's diverse community. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape the function from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading, motivating and developing teams.
• Extensive experience delivering enterprise‑wide organisational development outcomes.
• Ability to translate strategy into action and influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide organisational development initiatives aligned to the People Strategy.
• Provide expert advice on organisational design, workforce reform, leadership development and culture transformation.
• Ensure governance and data integrity across OD activities.
• Coach and develop a high‑performing Organisational Development team and partner network.
• Design and evaluate leadership development and capability programs.
