Job summary

Everyday Independence in Pakenham is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants. This role offers full-time, part-time (4 days/week) or a 9-day fortnight, with a competitive base salary and extras such as vehicle options, laptop and phone.

You will work across homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres, in an interdisciplinary team, while pursuing ongoing PD and supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• General AHPRA Registration is required.
• Positive and flexible approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and a team player.
• Commitment to personal and professional development.
• Valid Australian driver’s license, NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Provide life-changing occupational therapy to NDIS participants.
• Work in homes, schools, playgrounds, workplaces and community centres.
• Create therapy plans using an evidence-based assessment tool.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
• Build meaningful relationships with participants and supports.
