Job summary

ADEC Morang VIC is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Aged and Disability Services team. You will deliver assessments and interventions across SAH, NDIS and fee-for-service funding, promoting independence, safety and meaningful daily participation.

This full-time role offers the chance to influence service evolution, collaborate with Clinical Care Partners and families, maintain high-quality documentation, respect privacy, manage caseloads and budgets, and pursue ongoing

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
• At least five years’ experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience delivering assessments and interventions across aged care and disability services.
• Ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT assessments and interventions across SAH, NDIS and fee-for-service funding models.
• Assess client needs and recommend assistive technology, home modifications and strategies to support independent living.
• Manage a small SAH caseload, complete internal OT referrals and provide backup support for SAH intake and onboarding.
• Collaborate with clients, families, Clinical Care Partners and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate person-centred care.
• Prepare timely clinical reports, assessments and funding documentation in line with program requirements.
• Manage client resources and expenditure within approved budgets, meeting service targets and maintaining quality outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records, comply with privacy and funding requirements, and contribute to clinical quality improvement and service development.
