ADEC (Action on Disability within Ethnic Communities Inc.) is a Victorian not-for-profit organisation seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Aged and Disability Services team in Melbourne. The role focuses on delivering high-quality OT services for clients accessing the SAH program, including assessments, tech recommendations, and home modifications.

Now in a full-time capacity (part-time sharing considered for the right candidates), you will work with Clinical Care Partners

Formación

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
• At least five years’ experience in occupational therapy.
• Experience in aged care and disability services.
• Evidence-based, person-centred practice with functional assessments.
• Ability to work with assistive technology and home modifications.
• Willingness to obtain Medicare Benefits Schedule and private health insurer registration with ADEC.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver OT assessments and interventions across SAH, NDIS and FFS models.
• Assess client needs and recommend assistive technology and home modifications.
• Manage a small SAH caseload and support SAH intake and onboarding.
• Collaborate with clients, families and multidisciplinary teams for person-centred care.
• Prepare timely clinical reports and funding documentation.
• Manage client resources within budgets and maintain quality outcomes.
• Maintain records, privacy compliance, and contribute to service development.
