Ability ActionAustralia & MedHealth is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Newcastle and Hunter region, delivering holistic therapy close to home. You will manage caseloads, conduct assessments, and set tailored goals to improve independence and wellbeing.

Responsabilités

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

As our #AAA team continues to grow, we’re looking for an Occupational Therapist to support participants across theNewcastle and Hunter region, depending on where you’re based- work close to home!

In this role you will:

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
