Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Central Coast team, with opportunities to work near Tuggerah Clinic. You will manage caseloads, perform assessments, and develop tailored treatment goals to enhance independence and wellbeing.

We support flexible hours, part-time and full-time arrangements, and provide ongoing clinical supervision, mentorship, and career development within our multidisciplinary team across Australia.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy membership with AHPRA.
• Passionate about community-based support for people with disability.
• Thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Time management & organisational skills to manage varied caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

We're growing our #AAA team and looking for an Occupational Therapist based in the Central Coast region. Depending on your location, you'll have the opportunity to work close to home and in our Tuggerah Clinic.

In this role you will:
