Ability Action Australia is seeking an Occupational Therapist in the Canberra region to deliver community-based care close to home. You will manage a varied caseload, assess functional needs, and set tailored goals for participants.

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services.
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals.
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.

Job Description

We’re growing our #AAA team and looking for an Occupational Therapist based in the Canberra region. Depending on your location, you’ll have the opportunity to work close to home.

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on your negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
