Job summary
Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service in Rockhampton region is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to provide expert assessment and specialist nursing care for people living with chronic disease across Central Queensland.
You will lead advanced clinical practice, support evidence-based decision-making, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. Qualifications include Master of Nursing and NMBA endorsement.
Qualifications
- Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) with at least three years of advanced clinical practice in chronic disease.
- Current NMBA Nurse Practitioner endorsement with CQHHS scope and no restrictions.
- Commitment to education, evidence-based practice and mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical assessment and specialist nursing care for chronic disease across Central Queensland.
- Lead advanced clinical practice, supporting governance and service development.
- Educate and empower patients to manage chronic conditions.
- Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.
- Support the future of nursing practice through research, education, mentoring and development of Nurse Practitioner Candidates.
