Job summary

St Peter Claver College, Riverview is seeking an experienced Program Leader (Numeracy Improvement Coordinator) to drive whole-school numeracy excellence and support evidence-based teaching practices across the college.

The role leads the designated program, supervises teachers, coordinates resources and professional learning in line with the school's Catholic values, and engages with students, parents and staff for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading academic or school-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the designated numeracy program across the school.
• Supervise teachers engaged in the program.
• Induct new teachers and supervise induction.
• Monitor program outcomes and implement interventions.
• Coordinate staff delivering the program with school ethos.
• Communicate with students, parents and staff to ensure smooth operation.
• Organise program activities including resources, transport, operations, staff.
• Pursue best practice and provide professional learning for staff.
• Contribute to school leadership through meetings.
• Manage budgets and resources within the program area.
