Job summary

Craigieburn Secondary College in Victoria seeks a Numeracy Leading Teacher to drive whole‑school numeracy improvement. You will lead curriculum development in numeracy, support staff with high‑quality teaching, and use data to inform practice through coaching and modelling.

You will collaborate across learning areas, lead professional development, and contribute to policy and the improvement plan, fostering growth and measurable student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
• Experience leading school improvement and numeracy initiatives.
• Ability to use data to inform teaching practice and student growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage whole-school improvement initiatives aligned with the school plan.
• Lead curriculum planning and delivery for numeracy across the curriculum.
• Provide professional development and develop staff development plans.
• Lead staff performance reviews and development.
• Develop and implement assessment and reporting policies.
• Oversee student welfare and discipline policy implementation.
• Contribute to curriculum development in major learning areas.
• Support school leadership and contribute to school council proposals.
