Brisbane Catholic Education is seeking a senior educational leader to drive Numeracy and Maths curriculum development at St Columban's College, Caboolture. You will lead whole-school pedagogical practices, support teacher growth through professional learning and coaching, and evaluate teaching approaches for student outcomes.

The role requires overseeing curriculum alignment with national/state standards, supervising performance, and managing resources within the curriculum area.

Qualifications

• Developed work programs aligned with national, state, and local requirements.
• Driving assessment and moderation when developing new programs.
• Leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area.
• Stakeholder engagement fostering collaboration and transparency.
• Having responsibility for a financial budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation across the school under Senior Leadership.
• Apply contemporary learning research to classroom practice via whole-school professional development.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Leaders and staff to review curriculum frameworks and plan future directions.
• Lead teacher performance through professional dialogue and appraisal.
• Stay current with curriculum developments and guide whole-school professional learning.
• Provide induction and mentoring for beginning teachers with Senior Leadership.
• Supervise student learning using data and implement strategic interventions.
• Contribute to school leadership in staff and middle leadership meetings.
• Manage curriculum resources and budget planning/expenditure.
