Job summary

St Columban's College in Caboolture seeks a Curriculum Leader for Numeracy and Maths to steer whole-school pedagogy and curriculum development. The role includes coaching teachers, driving data-informed practices, and aligning programs with national, state, and local standards.

You will lead professional learning, collaborate with Senior Leadership, and manage resources to support student learning and curriculum delivery in a Catholic education context.

Qualifications

• Developed work programs aligned with national, state, and local requirements.
• Driving assessment and moderation when developing new programs.
• Leading and innovating within a specified curriculum area.
• Stakeholder engagement fostering collaboration and transparency.
• Having responsibility for a financial budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation across the school under Senior Leadership.
• Apply contemporary learning and teaching research to classroom practice through whole-school professional development.
• Collaborate with Curriculum Leaders and staff to review curriculum frameworks and plan future directions.
• Lead teacher performance through professional dialogue and appraisal.
• Stay current with curriculum and pedagogy developments and guide professional learning accordingly.
• Provide induction and mentoring for beginning teachers in collaboration with leadership.
• Supervise student learning using internal/external data and implement strategic interventions.
• Contribute to school leadership in meetings and budget planning.
