Brisbane Catholic Education Office is seeking a seasoned Program Leader (Numeracy Improvement Coordinator) at St Peter Claver College, Riverview, Ipswich, starting January 2027. The role drives whole-school numeracy excellence, supports evidence-based teaching, and enhances student outcomes across the college.

With a 30-hour week, a salary range of AUD 86,601–124,725 plus Middle Leader Allowance and 12.75% super, the appointment offers ongoing leadership opportunities and a commitment to

Competenze

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
• Be a committed, practicing Catholic, or in an ecumenical school, a member of one faith tradition represented in that school.
• Experience in school leadership, or a role providing support and leadership to Catholic schools.
• Demonstrated experience in leading academic, cultural, outreach, or sporting programs.
• Proven ability to supervise and support teaching staff across a school setting.
• Strong organisational skills to coordinate program logistics, resources, and operations.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, parents, staff, and external partners.
• Capacity to build and maintain partnerships with external organisations to enhance program outcomes.
• Commitment to the values and ethos of the school in all aspects of program leadership.
• Ability to lead professional learning aligned with current best practices and research.

Mansioni

• Lead the designated program in the school.
• Supervise teachers engaged in the program throughout the school.
• Induct new teachers within the program (or supervise induction).
• Monitor program outcomes for students and address issues through interventions.
• Coordinate the work of staff delivering the designated program.
• Communicate with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of the program.
• Organise program activities including resources, transport, operations, staff.
• Keep up with best practice in the program area through reading and professional learning.
