Job summary

Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Safety Systems Manager to lead the Nuclear Safety Management System (NSMS) development and its integration with enterprise and regulatory requirements. You will guide safety governance across a high-hazard environment and support the Osborne Naval Shipyards program.

The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, 10+ years in safety systems, and the ability to drive organisational change while maintaining security

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined experience in Safety Management Systems and/or Safety Cases.
• Experience in high-hazard industries and regulated environments.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and sustain ANI’s Nuclear Safety Management System (NSMS) to meet regulatory requirements.
• Lead integration of NSMS with enterprise processes and governance.
• Provide technical leadership to facilitate organisational change.
• Engage with multi-agency stakeholders to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Adhere to NPS enterprise-wide requirements and performance expectations.
