Job summary

Mott MacDonald’s Defence Division in Adelaide is seeking a Safety Case Engineer to support naval nuclear programmes. You will lead safety-case production, regulatory interfaces, and ALARP, HAZOP, and safety assessments on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology or Engineering.
• Experience in the nuclear or defence industries (or similar high-hazard sectors).
• Chartered Engineer or actively working towards CEng status.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety case production activities and coordinate deliverables for complex naval programmes.
• Support delivery of naval nuclear projects and associated licensing.
• Manage regulatory interfaces and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Lead SAFETY analyses including ALARP, HAZOP, and various safety assessments.
