Job summary

mlcoa is seeking a Business Manager to lead our NT operations and support a customer service team. You will build strong relationships with NT clients and work with senior leaders to drive exceptional service and business growth.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee daily activities, productivity, and service delivery while promoting governance, quality and continuous improvement. You will mentor staff and contribute to recruitment and onboarding.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a medical or related industry with commercial/operational delivery.
• Proven customer relationship management experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and a results-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the Customer Service team to deliver a consistently high standard of service.
• Oversee daily activities, workloads and service delivery to support team productivity and efficiency.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with NT customers through proactive engagement, training and ongoing support.
• Monitor service standards and ensure client SLAs and contractual requirements are met.
• Work collaboratively with operational teams to resolve customer issues and complaints effectively.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of team members.
• Work with the General Manager and Operations Manager to support business growth initiatives.
• Monitor customer and industry trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Promote strong governance, quality and compliance across day-to-day operations.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative and supportive team environment.
