Reo Group Executive Search has been exclusively retained to appoint a NSW State Manager for a leading Australian healthcare equipment manufacturer experiencing significant growth and expansion.
This newly created senior leadership role will oversee a significant NSW business, with responsibility for a large, geographically dispersed multi-site network and a team of approximately 200 employees.
Reporting to the Co-Chief Commercial Officer, the NSW State Manager will lead an established team of Regional Managers and commercial leaders across both B2B and B2C operations. The role will focus on driving profitable growth, strengthening commercial and sales performance, and building greater consistency and accountability across the NSW business.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the next phase of growth for NSW, strengthening leadership capability, improving operational effectiveness and building a high-performing, commercially focused team. Working closely with the executive leadership team and national functional leaders, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the ongoing development and success of the business.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished commercial and operational leader with significant experience leading a sizeable, geographically dispersed, multi-site or branch-based business. You will be comfortable leading through multiple layers of management and creating clear accountability across an established network.
You will bring strong B2B sales leadership experience, together with demonstrated P&L ownership and a track record of delivering profitable growth, improving commercial performance and building high-performing teams. You will be commercially astute, metrics-driven and comfortable using data to inform decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Experience within a branch, retail, distribution or similarly customer-facing environment will be highly regarded, particularly within a growing or evolving organization. You will know how to introduce greater structure, operating discipline and management cadence without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. Exposure to healthcare equipment, medical devices, aged care or a related sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
You will be a grounded, low-ego and high-EQ leader who can build credibility quickly, empower experienced leaders and address performance issues when required. Importantly, you will connect with the organization's purpose and its genuine commitment to making a positive difference in people’s lives.
