Job summary

CR.Kennedy & Company - Geospatial Division in Sydney is seeking a Support Technician to join the NSW Geospatial team. You will analyze hardware and Leica product issues, provide technical support, manage software inventory and licenses, and collaborate with the Survey Team on implementation solutions.

The role requires IT or engineering qualifications and at least two years in ICT technical support, with Leica TPS/GPS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Information Technology / Engineering or the equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience as an ICT Technical Support specialist.
• Experience with Leica TPS/GPS products and certification.
• Experience in Leica software and hardware.

Job description

As a Support Technician, you will report directly to the NSW Geospatial Manager and be responsible for the following duties:

• Analysis of hardware and software requirements and issues in relation of Leica suite of products
• Provide Technical support and troubleshooting for software related issues
• Conduct software inventory and license management
• Collaborate with Survey Team for software needs and implementation solutions
• Preparation of equipment including leasing with Service Department for pre delivery check and software installation
• Undertaking troubleshooting evaluation, testing and rectification as required
• Support customers with technical inquiries
• Liaising with clients, direct, phone and email
• Record keeping, quotes and assist with data recording

Qualifications And Experience Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in Information Technology / Engineering or the equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience as an ICT Technical Support specialist.
• Experiences of, and certification with Leica TPS/GPS products.
• Experience in working with Leica related software and hardware.

SALARY:

Base : $88,000 base + 12% superannuation
