Job summary

Bellcore in Sydney seeks an experienced State Manager to drive growth of its Soft Services division across New South Wales, focusing on commercial cleaning and related services. You will identify new markets, build senior client relationships and secure long-term contracts across commercial property, industrial, education, healthcare and government sectors.

The role is hybrid with flexibility to work from home and meet clients, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven business development or senior sales experience in commercial cleaning or soft services.
• Track record of winning and growing large service contracts.
• Strong knowledge of tendering, pricing and contract negotiations.
• Established relationships with property, procurement or facilities decision-makers.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior-level decision-makers.
• Consultative, solution-led sales approach with commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

• Develop NSW business development strategy for Soft Services and cleaning.
• Identify new opportunities across commercial cleaning and related services.
• Diversify the business beyond established retail portfolio.
• Build relationships with decision-makers in property, procurement and facilities.
• Manage opportunities from engagement to contract award.
• Lead EOIs, tenders, proposals and client presentations.
• Develop commercially competitive pricing and service solutions.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Support mobilisation and handover of new contracts.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline, forecast, and CRM records.
• Represent the company at client meetings, networking events and industry forums.
