Job summary

Sharp Fasteners is seeking an experienced field sales person to develop and grow our NSW territory, covering Sydney metro and regional NSW. You will travel to visit customers in person, manage quotes, and coordinate stock, delivery and pricing with the Eastern Creek team.

You will build strong customer relationships, train customers on online ordering, and run your own diary and pipeline. A current driving licence is required, with uncapped commission and an on-target earnings opportunity as the

Qualifications

• B2B field sales experience in trade, hardware, industrial or construction products.
• Comfortable getting in front of customers, on the phone and in person. This is not a desk role.
• Practical product knowledge: matching fasteners to the job, and a working understanding of coatings and classes. Standards and specifications can be trained.
• A current driver's licence.
• The discipline to run a territory without supervision.
• Fastener industry experience is not required. Existing relationships with NSW trade, construction or distribution customers are what put you at the top of the salary band.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow customer accounts across the NSW territory.
• Visit customers in person across the state, including overnight travel.
• Identify and win new business across trade, construction and industrial customers.
• Get new accounts trading, including training them on our online ordering platform.
• Work with the Eastern Creek team on pricing, quoting, stock availability and delivery.
• Respond to inbound enquiries.
• Tell us what to stock next, based on what your customers are asking for.
• Run your own diary and your own pipeline.
