Job summary

Sharp & Carter seeks an experienced Regional Manager NSW to lead commercial growth across the construction, civil infrastructure, mining and industrial sectors in New South Wales.

The role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on business development and technical solution selling, delivering revenue and profitability targets while shaping regional strategy and client engagement. You will manage a high-performing team and partner with engineering stakeholders to win major projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior sales/commercial/region leadership role.
• History in construction, civil infrastructure, mining or industrial markets.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue, margin and profitability targets.
• Ability to grow market share and develop strategic accounts.
• Strong technical sales capability to communicate engineering-led solutions.
• Experience with technical products used in construction or infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver regional sales budgets, revenue, margin and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute annual regional business and sales plans aligned with strategic objectives.
• Identify and pursue new markets, projects and commercial opportunities to increase market share.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline across specialist engineered construction and ground-support products.
• Drive new business through prospecting, networking, industry engagement and strategic client development.
• Develop trusted relationships with key customers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical product and application advice, recommending solutions based on project requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and customer training.
• Collaborate with customers and engineering stakeholders during project design and specification stages.
• Forecast revenue, margin and pipeline performance on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
• Monitor market conditions, competitor activity and emerging industry trends.
• Identify strategic partnerships that support long-term regional growth.
