Job summary

Mother Duck Child Care to Gaythorne in Brisbane, QLD is seeking a part-time Nominated Supervisor for our Gaythorne service. You will lead a passionate team, mentor educators and work with the franchisee and support office to maintain quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Leadership experience within an early childhood education and care service.
• Current Blue Card is required.
• Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standard.
• Passion for high-quality education, leadership and mentoring staff.

As one of our franchisee-led centres, Gaythorne offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the franchisee, gaining hands‑on mentorship, guidance and valuable insight into the operational, pedagogical and business aspects of early childhood leadership.

We are currently seeking a part time passionate and experienced Nominated Supervisor to join our Gaythorne service.

Receive ongoing mentoring and coaching from our experienced Service Franchisee, the Mother Duck Support Office team, including specialists in Operations, Curriculum, Policy, People and Culture, and Business Leadership.

What we're looking for

Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care

Previous leadership experience within an early childhood education and care service

Current Blue Card

Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standard and relevant legislation
