Eight Mile Plains Community Children's Centre in Brisbane seeks a Nominated Supervisor/Centre Director to lead daily operations and drive high-quality early childhood programming.

As a family-owned service, you will oversee administrative and financial health, while fostering teamwork and strong family partnerships within a supportive management structure.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Current Approved Child Protection Training.
• Current Working with Children Check (Queensland Blue Card).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training.
• Safe Sleep Training certification.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (highly desirable).

Responsabilités

• Educational Leadership: Guide, mentor, and inspire educators to maintain high-quality programming.
• Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensure NQS compliance, and monitor staff-to-child ratios.
• Financial Administration: Manage parent accounts, statements, fee payments, and child care subsidy administration.
• Funding & Compliance: Submit funding requests and maintain records using government portals.
• Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with multicultural families and the wider community.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Nominated Supervisor / Centre Director to oversee our daily operations and lead our close-knit team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the highest standards of care and compliance while managing the administrative and financial health of the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Educational Leadership: Guide, mentor, and inspire a dedicated, hardworking team of educators to maintain high-quality programming.
• Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensure strict compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS), and monitor staff-to-child ratios.
• Financial Administration: Manage parent accounts, statements, fee payments, and child care subsidy administration.
• Funding & Compliance: Submit funding requests and maintain accurate records using government and sector portals.
• Community Engagement: Cultivate meaningful, respectful relationships with our multicultural families and the wider community.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced leader with a deep understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and a hands-on approach to centre management.

Qualifications & Certifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
• Current Approved Child Protection Training.
• Valid Working with Children Check (Queensland Blue Card).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training.
• Safe Sleep Training certification.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (Highly desirable).

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in a Nominated Supervisor or Director role.
• Proficiency in CCMS software, specifically Kidsoft.
• Experience utilizing Storypark for documentation and family communication.
• Demonstrated experience navigating QGrants/ Edgrants and the NQA ITS portal.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to connect with multicultural families.
