Job summary

HCLTech Australia seeks a proactive NOC Engineer to join its Network Operations Centre. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and support enterprise networks with emphasis on SD-WAN, Cisco, and Juniper technologies to ensure high availability in a 24x7 environment.

Join a diverse team, perform incident management and fault isolation, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement corrective actions and ITIL-aligned processes. This position is based in Australia and offers shift rotations.

Qualifications

• Experience with SD-WAN technologies including Cisco Viptela, Meraki, Versa, Fortinet SD-WAN, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking: routing, switching, and related protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Juniper devices and JunOS.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, QoS and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and Internet environments.
• Provide Level 1/2 support for network incidents, service requests, and escalations.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, and performance issues.
• Support Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
• Create and maintain network documentation and runbooks.
