Job summary

The Alexander Aged Care Centre is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse In Charge (RNIC) to join our clinical team on a casual basis, covering three consistent night shifts each week at Clayton, VIC. You will oversee clinical care and nursing operations during your night shifts, ensuring safety and comfort for residents.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration, have aged care experience, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills for overnight care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in aged care, preferably in senior or RNIC capacity.
• Strong knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Ability to make clinical decisions and manage overnight care.
• Excellent communication, leadership and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and support the wider care team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical care and nursing operations during night shifts.
• Ensure safety, wellbeing and comfort of residents.
• Lead and support care team during night hours.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and handovers.
• Collaborate with the clinical leadership team as needed.
