Job summary

Uniting Aldersgate in Lilyfield, NSW is seeking two night-duty registered nurses for 2230–0715 shifts. The roles provide 33 hours weekly or 24.75 hours weekly with some flexibility. Applicants must have 2+ years in aged care as an RN and current AHPRA registration.

You will lead care planning, perform clinical assessments, collaborate with health professionals and families, and mentor care staff while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in aged care as an RN.
• Willingness to lead clinical practice and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evaluate resident care plans to meet individual needs.
• Provide sharp clinical assessment and lead clinical services.
• Know residents well and support their life and wellbeing.
• Ensure care meets residents' goals and preferences.
• Liaise with medical and allied health professionals and families.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.
• Practice holistically with decisive team leadership.
