Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
• Night duty experience in residential aged care is highly regarded.
• Confident working night duty and making clinical decisions.
• Strong communication skills with residents, families and team members.
• A warm, professional and resident-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care overnight.
• Monitor residents’ health and respond to changes.
• Administer medications per policies and clinical standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain residents’ comfort, privacy, dignity and independence.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to care staff on shift.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control, WH&S, and quality standards.
• Participate in clinical handovers to ensure continuity of care between shifts.
• Liaise effectively with medical practitioners, families, and external providers as required.
