Job summary

Respect Glenella Care is seeking a Night Duty Registered Nurse to join our supportive team. This role offers full-time, part-time or casual arrangements, with rosters determined in collaboration with you.

The RN will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care, manage medications, participate in GP rounds, and develop person-centred care plans while upholding residents' dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA and ability to maintain professional standards.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation capabilities.
• Experience in aged care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Compile resident histories and assess care needs at admissions and ongoing care.
• Maintain and update clinical documentation reflecting care delivery.
• Develop and evaluate resident care plans and assist with admissions.
• Administer medications and ensure proper ordering, storage and documentation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal resident outcomes.
• Foster a safe, respectful environment for residents, families and staff.
