Job summary

Bene Aged Care is seeking a Night Registered Nurse to join our St Agnes Residential Facility on a permanent part-time basis. This role focuses on safe, patient-centered care during night shifts and ensures residents receive clinical oversight overnight.

You will administer medications, monitor health, document care, and lead on-duty team members while upholding compassionate, respectful care within our not-for-profit, values-driven organisation.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in aged care or similar clinical setting.
• Strong clinical judgement and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on night duty.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred, evidence-based nursing care.
• Monitor residents' health and respond promptly to clinical needs during night shifts.
• Administer medications, manage wound care and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide leadership and clinical oversight to care staff on duty.
• Support and mentor Care Workers to ensure best practice standards are maintained.
• Foster a safe, calm and respectful environment for residents overnight.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare professionals as required.
• Collaborate with the broader clinical team to support holistic care planning and continuity of care.
