Job summary

Bega Group's Smithfield site in Western Sydney is hiring a permanent full-time Night Shift Production Operator. Based mainly in the Mixing Room, you will help produce juice, prepare ingredients, and support packing and other production areas as needed.

You will operate equipment, perform CIP and sanitation, conduct product testing, and work closely with Production and Reliability teams to meet targets. Forklift licence is required; safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in food processing, mixing, manufacturing, packing or palletising.
• Strong attention to safety.
• Can-do attitude and teamwork.
• Mechanically minded with troubleshooting skills.
• Flexible and willing to work across Mixing and Packing operations.
• Forklift licence required.

Responsibilities

• Mix and supply juice to production and packing lines.
• Operate processing equipment using JIX (SCADA).
• Conduct CIP and sanitation activities.
• Perform product testing using laboratory equipment.
• Work closely with Production and Reliability teams to meet production targets.
• Comply with all Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.
• Support Packing and other operational areas as required, including forklift duties where licensed.
• The incumbent must be available night shift 10PM to 6AM, Sunday to Thursday.
