Job summary

Bega Group in Western Sydney is seeking a permanent Night Shift Mixing Room operator for our Smithfield site, focused on juice mixing, ingredient prep and CIP activities.

You will work 10 PM–6 AM, Sunday to Thursday, operate SCADA/JIX equipment, assist Packing as required, perform product testing, and collaborate with Production and Reliability teams to meet daily targets while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in food processing, mixing, manufacturing, packing or palletising is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Can do attitude and strong culture-based attitude to teamwork.
• Mechanically minded with good troubleshooting skills.
• Flexible and willing to work across both Mixing and Packing operations.
• Forklift licence required.

Responsibilities

• Mix and supply juice to production and packing lines.
• Operate processing equipment using SCADA (JIX).
• Conduct CIP and sanitation activities.
• Perform product testing using laboratory equipment.
• Work with Production and Reliability teams to meet production targets.
• Comply with Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.
• Support Packing and other operational areas, including forklift duties when licensed.

The Role

Our Smithfield site in Western Sydney, manufactures a range of more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink, and water ice products. The site currently manufactures approximately 110 million litres of finished goods every year including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura, and Zooper Dooper.

This role is primarily based in the Mixing Room, responsible for juice mixing, ingredient preparation, processing operations and CIP activities. The successful candidate must also be flexible and willing to support Packing operations and other production areas as required.

The incumbent must be available night shift 10PM to 6AM, Sunday to Thursday.
