Job summary

Bega Group's Smithfield site in Western Sydney is seeking a night shift operator for the Mixing Room to handle juice mixing, ingredient preparation, processing operations and CIP activities. The role requires flexibility to support Packing and other areas.

You're expected to work 10PM–6AM, Sunday to Thursday, and operate equipment via SCADA, conduct CIP, and perform product testing with lab tools while collaborating with Production and Reliability teams to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is required.
• Experience in food processing, mixing, manufacturing, packing or palletising is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Can-do attitude and teamwork culture.
• Flexible to work across Mixing and Packing operations; mechanically minded.

The Role

Our Smithfield site in Western Sydney, manufactures a range of more than 60 fruit juice, fruit drink, and water ice products. The site currently manufactures approximately 110 million litres of finished goods every year including The Juice Brothers, Daily Juice, Mildura, and Zooper Dooper.

This role is primarily based in the Mixing Room, responsible for juice mixing, ingredient preparation, processing operations and CIP activities. The successful candidate must also be flexible and willing to support Packing operations and other production areas as required.

The incumbent must be available night shift 10PM to 6AM, Sunday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Mix and supply juice to production and packing lines.
• Operate processing equipment using JIX (SCADA).
• Conduct CIP and sanitation activities.
• Perform product testing using laboratory equipment.
• Work closely with Production and Reliability teams to meet production targets.
• Comply with all Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.
• Support Packing and other operational areas as required, including forklift duties where licensed.

About you

• Experience in food processing, mixing, manufacturing, packing or palletising is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Can do attitude and strong culture-based attitude to teamwork
• Mechanically minded with good troubleshooting skills.
• Flexible and willing to work across both Mixing and Packing operations.
• Forklift licence required.
