Job summary

Bega Group in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to drive safe, efficient and high-quality production across our Smithfield site. You will report to the Manufacturing Manager and lead performance, coach teams and manage continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a hands-on leader who can build a safety-first culture, maintain GMP/quality standards and deliver on KPIs while developing staff through coaching and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, GMP and HACCP standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and KPIs.
• Promote a strong safety culture through coaching and risk management.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained and non-conformances managed effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Develop, coach, and support team members to achieve performance goals.
