Job summary

MSWA in Australia is seeking a Care Support Worker to provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents with neurological conditions. You will help with daily living activities, promote independence, and work as part of a dedicated residential team to create a safe, welcoming environment.

Must have First Aid and CPR, strong communication, ability to work in a team, and be eligible for NDIS checks. This permanent part-time role offers 60 hours per fortnight at Hamilton Hill and

Qualifications

• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A genuine passion for supporting people living with disability.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain).
• NDIS Orientation Certificate (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, mobility assistance, hoisting, and other daily living activities.
• Assist residents with medication administration and monitoring.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
• Assist with catheter care, enteral management and basic wound care.
• Encourage participation in activities that promote inclusion, independence, and achievement of individual goals.
• Report and document changes in resident wellbeing and health status.
• Maintain accurate records and resident documentation.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
