Job summary

North West Disability Services is seeking experienced, reliable Disability Support Workers to support people with challenging behaviours at sites in the Hills district and in the community. You will deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living and community access, and help participants build confidence and independence.

Mandatory criteria include personal care experience, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, First Aid & CPR certification, and a valid driving

Qualifications

• Experience in disability support (NDIS or related sector).
• Mandatory personal care, Driving Mini Busses and Driving company vehicles.
• Confidence working with behaviours that may challenge.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working With Children Check.
• First Aid & CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Delivering consistent, person‑centred support.
• Providing confident, safe support to participants with complex or challenging behaviours.
• Assisting with daily living, community access and meaningful routines.
• Helping participants develop skills, independence and confidence.
• Contributing to long‑term improvements in quality of life.
• Providing personal care is a mandatory part of this role.
