Job summary

NEPEAN Longwall, a leading provider of underground mining equipment, is seeking a motivated Boilermaker to join our Paget workshop in Mackay QLD. You will fabricate, assemble and repair steel structures for longwall systems, working night shifts with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical and hydraulics trades, follow technical drawings and maintain high WHS standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified Boilermaker with experience in heavy or mining equipment fabrication.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Able to work night shifts reliably and safely.

NEPEAN Longwall is a leading provider of specialised underground mining equipment to the Australian coal industry. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Boilermaker to join our team based in Paget, Mackay QLD.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and repair of longwall and underground mining equipment. This role is workshop-based, working night shifts with a focus on high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair steel structures and components for mining equipment

• Follow technical drawings and specifications
