Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy fabrication, repairs and maintenance to mining equipment and infrastructure.
• Carry out maintenance and shutdown work to required standards and timeframes.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications accurately.
• Work effectively as part of a team, following direction from supervisors and leading others when required.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and site requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.

About the Role

We are seeking a trade qualified Boilermaker to join our onsite team for casual (could lead to full time) work involving heavy fabrication, repairs, and maintenance. The position is based close to Townsville, Ayr & Charters Towers and involves both day and night shift work as required.

You will be part of a skilled and supportive team delivering high-quality fabrication and maintenance services across a range of industrial and site-based projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform heavy fabrication, repairs and maintenance to mining equipment and infrastructure.
• Carry out maintenance and shutdown work to required standards and timeframes.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications accurately.

Requirements

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator (Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent).
• Experience in heavy fabrication, repairs, and maintenance.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to spend periods away from home as required for site work.
• Flexibility to work day and night shifts.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Current driver’s licence (manual preferred).
