Job summary

NEPEAN Longwall in Paget, Mackay is seeking a qualified Boilermaker to fabricate, assemble and repair mining equipment in a workshop, with night shifts and a focus on safety.

You will follow drawings, collaborate with mechanical, electrical and hydraulics trades, and have opportunities for overtime and development within a growing national business.

Qualifications

• Qualified Boilermaker with experience in heavy or mining equipment fabrication.
• Strong welding and fabrication skills.
• Able to work night shifts reliably and safely.

NEPEAN Longwall is a leading provider of specialised underground mining equipment to the Australian coal industry. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and reliable Boilermaker to join our team based in Paget, Mackay QLD.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and repair of longwall and underground mining equipment. This role is workshop-based, working night shifts with a focus on high-quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair steel structures and components for mining equipment

• Follow technical drawings and specifications

• Perform quality checks and ensure compliance with WHS and company standards

• Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulics trades

About You
