Sofitel Brisbane Central is seeking a dedicated Night Manager to ensure smooth overnight hotel operations, guest satisfaction, and property safety in Brisbane. You will lead night teams, manage check-ins/outs, and coordinate across departments to resolve issues and maintain standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel management, preferably in a night manager or similar role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Exceptional customer service orientation with a guest-first mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Thorough understanding of hotel safety and security procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts and adapt to varying schedules.
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of hotel operations during night shifts.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and anticipating needs.
• Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, maintaining accurate guest accounts and records.
• Implement and maintain strict security protocols to ensure guest and property safety.
• Coordinate with other departments to address any overnight maintenance or housekeeping needs.
• Prepare and analyse nightly reports for management review.
• Train and mentor night shift staff, promoting a culture of excellence, passion and pride.
• Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following established procedures.
• Assist in food and beverage service as needed, ensuring quality and timeliness.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of hotel operations and guest services.
