Job summary

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional service, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. RSA certification and hospitality knowledge are preferred; training and development

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Night Manager to oversee hospital operations during overnight hours. As the senior representative on duty, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the hotel, delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing overnight staff, and maintaining safety and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations during the night shift.
• Ensure guests receive outstanding service and support.
• Manage late check-ins, early departures, and guest enquiries.
• Handle guest feedback, concerns, and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Conduct night audits, daily financial reconciliations, and reporting.
• Supervise and support front office and overnight staff.
• Monitor hotel security and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Prepare handover reports for the day management team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Night Manager, Duty Manager, Front Office Manager, or similar hospitality leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of hotel front office operations and night audit processes.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
• Experience using hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Qualifications & Skills
• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Hospitality Management (desirable).
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification (if applicable).
• Sound computer and administrative skills.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
