About the Role

As our Night Manager, you will be the hotel’s Manager on Duty, leading overnight operations and ensuring a seamless guest experience. Your responsibilities include overseeing the night audit process, maintaining safety and security, and supporting the smooth running of the hotel throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all overnight hotel operations and act as the primary point of contact for guests and team members
• Deliver exceptional guest service, proactively resolving guest concerns and creating memorable experiences
• Maintain a visible management presence and support VIP, repeat and long‑stay guests
• Lead, coach and support overnight team members, ensuring service, presentation and operational standards are met
• Complete night audit, financial reconciliations and reporting accurately and on time
• Monitor compliance with hotel policies, procedures, security and safety requirements
• Liaise with departments to ensure effective communication and a seamless guest experience
• Protect hotel assets, monitor cash handling processes and identify operational improvements
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and overnight operational matters as required

About You

• Previous experience as a Night Manager, Duty Manager or Front Office leadership role within hospitality
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest service and night audit procedures
• Experience using Opera PMS and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making skills
• Ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, financial acumen and organisational skills
• Availability to work a rotating roster including overnight shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Proactive approach with the ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver exceptional service
