Job summary

Village Roadshow Theme Parks seeks a Night Duty Manager for Sea World Resort, Main Beach, Australia. This overnight role supports guest experiences, audits daily activity, and ensures financial accuracy while stepping into Night Manager duties when needed.

You’ll lead with security, guest service and operational excellence, guiding Night Guest Service Agents and preparing reports for the day ahead. A RSA certificate and First Aid/Resuscitation credentials are required.

Qualifications

• RSA and First Aid certifications required.
• Experience in Night Auditing or Front Office Supervision preferred.
• Leadership, attention to detail and guest service passion emphasised.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily arrivals and reconcile guest accounts, processing charges and ensuring financial accuracy.
• Assist Night Manager in overseeing nightly operations to guarantee guest comfort and safety.
• Safeguard property and guests, adhering to security and compliance standards.
• Welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, attend to requests and deliver exceptional service after hours.
• Train Night Guest Service Agents with inductions and ongoing training.
• Generate reports, conduct audits and set the stage for a successful day ahead.

About the Role:

As our Night Duty Manager, you'll be at the heart of our overnight guest experience. From auditing daily activity and ensuring financial accuracy to preparing for upcoming arrivals, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering seamless guest satisfaction. With security, leadership, and operational excellence at the forefront, you’ll step into Night Manager duties as needed and help keep our resort running like clockwork.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Master the Details: Audit daily arrivals, reconcile guest accounts, process charges, and ensure financial precision.
• Lead with Excellence: Support the Night Manager in overseeing nightly operations to guarantee every guest’s comfort and safety.
• Keep Things Secure: Safeguard our property and guests, adhering to the highest standards of security and compliance.
• Create Memorable Moments: Welcome guests, handle check‑ins and check‑outs, attend to requests, and deliver exceptional service, even after hours!
• Train the Team: Guide and develop Night Guest Service Agents with impactful inductions and ongoing training.
• Prepare for Success: Generate reports, conduct audits, and set the stage for a successful day ahead.

What You Bring:

• A current RSA Certificate
• Experience in Night Auditing or Front Office Supervision (preferred).
• Advanced certifications in First Aid and Resuscitation, a must for this critical role.
• A knack for leadership, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for guest service.
