Job summary

Village Roadshow Theme Parks – Sea World Resort, Main Beach, QLD, is seeking a Night Duty Manager for overnight shifts (10:30 pm – 6:30 am). The role is full-time and located at Sea World Resort.

Responsibilities include auditing daily activity, reconciling guest accounts, and ensuring security and guest satisfaction through the night. The ideal candidate holds a current RSA certificate, Night Auditing or Front Office supervision experience, and advanced First Aid/Resuscitation certifications.

Qualifications

• RSA certificate required.
• Experience in Night Auditing or Front Office Supervision preferred.
• Advanced First Aid and Resuscitation certifications are essential.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily guest activity and financial transactions with accuracy.
• Oversee nightly operations and support the Night Manager to ensure guest comfort and safety.
• Maintain security standards and protect property and guests at all times.
• Greet guests, manage check-ins/outs, and respond to after-hours requests with exceptional service.
• Train and mentor Night Guest Service Agents through inductions and ongoing development.
• Prepare reports, conduct audits, and set up a smooth handover for the next day.

About the Role:

As our Night Duty Manager, you'll be at the heart of our overnight guest experience. From auditing daily activity and ensuring financial accuracy to preparing for upcoming arrivals, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering seamless guest satisfaction. With security, leadership, and operational excellence at the forefront, you’ll step into Night Manager duties as needed and help keep our resort running like clockwork.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Master the Details: Audit daily arrivals, reconcile guest accounts, process charges, and ensure financial precision.
• Lead with Excellence: Support the Night Manager in overseeing nightly operations to guarantee every guest’s comfort and safety.
• Keep Things Secure: Safeguard our property and guests, adhering to the highest standards of security and compliance.
• Create Memorable Moments: Welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, attend to requests, and deliver exceptional service, even after hours!
• Train the Team: Guide and develop Night Guest Service Agents with impactful inductions and ongoing training.
• Prepare for Success: Generate reports, conduct audits, and set the stage for a successful day ahead.

What You Bring:

• A current RSA Certificate
• Experience in Night Auditing or Front Office Supervision (preferred).
• Advanced certifications in First Aid and Resuscitation, a must for this critical role.
• A knack for leadership, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for guest service.
