Job summary

The Bungalow Hotel in Cairns, Far North Queensland, is seeking a Night Duty Manager to lead nightly operations. The role starts as a casual for training and progresses to a full-time position, with focus on maintaining service quality across beverage and gaming areas.

Applicants should have 1–2 years in hospitality management, be available for night shifts and weekends, and hold RSA, RSG, TAB, plus RMLV and Approved Manager licenses.

Qualifications

The Bungalow Hotel is currently seeking a Night Duty Managers for full-time positions in the Cairns, Far North Queensland, at a well-established venue. The ideal candidate will possess experience in Hospitality Management.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of hospitality management experience.

This position starts as a casual for training in Night Manager Duties and other venue area and leads to a full time Position

We believe in allowing our employees to spend Christmas Day with their families.

Candidates must be available for, night shifts, weekends, and the odd day shifts. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily operations and ensuring seamless functionality between the beverage and gaming areas to uphold a high level of customer satisfaction.

Applicants must have at least 1+ years of gaming operations experience to effectively manage gaming area responsibilities.

As a Duty Manager, your role will encompass the following responsibilities:

• Leadership capabilities with a strong focus on hospitality and people management
• Comprehensive knowledge of venue compliance, regulations, and operations

• Experience in various aspects of the hospitality industry
• Reliable transportation
• Time management, problem solving, and attention to detail
• Strong organizational, motivational, and conflict resolution abilities
• RSA, RSG, and TAB certificates must be held at the time of application.
• RMLV and Approved Manager's License
