Country Club Tasmania in Launceston is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee overnight operations and audit processes while supporting the daily operations team. You will manage end-of-day reporting, cash handling, and guest services with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction.

You'll join a premier resort known for its hospitality and entertainment, with opportunities to learn from experienced leaders and contribute to smooth overnight service across our front office.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Genuine passion for creating great guest experiences.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously, especially during night shifts.
• Experience with RMS reservations software preferred.
• Front office or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Flexible approach to working hours over a 7-day roster, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Oversee overnight operations and audit processes; provide admin support to the daily operations team.
• Complete routine records and reports related to trading and revenue.
• Roll the end-of-day process and handle cash/daily balance.
• General reception duties including check-in/check-out, reservations, guest services and phone inquiries.
• Monitor accuracy of financial transactions; ensure compliance with procedures and escalate discrepancies.
• Monitor daily upgrades and VIP services requirements.

What you can expect in a day in this role:

As a Night Auditor, your main responsibility will be overseeing overnight operations and audit processes, while also providing administrative support to the daily operations team. You'll play a key role in ensuring the hotel runs smoothly during overnight hours and upholding high standards of service. Including but not limited to:

• Complete routine records and reports relating to trading and revenue
• Accurately roll the 'end of day' process & handle cash/daily balance
• General reception duties including the check-in and check-out of guests, reservations, guest services and phone enquiries
• Monitor the accuracy of financial transactions and records, ensure compliance with business procedures, and identify and resolve discrepancies or escalate to management as appropriate.
• Monitor daily upgrades and VIP services requirements

While availability for night shifts is a must, you'll also work a range of day shifts across our front office team, giving you plenty of variety and the chance to get to know the whole operation.

What you will bring to the role:

With the ability to work autonomously and strong initiative, we are looking for:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
• A friendly attitude and a genuine passion for creating great guest experiences
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously, particularly during overnight shifts
• Experience with hotel reservations software RMS preferred but not essential
• Previous experience in a front office role or customer service is preferred
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• A flexible approach to working hours over a 7-day roster, including weekends, public holidays and evening shifts
