Job summary

Novotel Sydney International Airport, part of Accor, is seeking a Full Time Night Manager to deliver memorable guest experiences and maintain strong human connections at every stage of a guest’s stay. You will balance takings, ensure accurate guest charges, and uphold safety across the property.

The role requires handling night audits, supervising Front Office staff, and producing daily trading reports, with shifts including late evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience with property management systems, Opera Cloud preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, communication and time management.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with reliability for unsupervised work.
• Willingness to use initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills and high computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Check and balance the day’s takings from hotel outlets.

Job Description

We are looking for a Full Time Night Manager who is dedicated to providing a memorable experience and create that human connection with our guests, at every stage of their stay.

In This Role You Will

• Checking and balancing the day’s takings from the hotels outlets.
• Ensuring accurate charges to our guest’s rooms.
• Ensuring the safety and security of our guests.
• Completing the night audit process reconciliation & excel reporting.
• Front Office duties such as checking in late arrivals, or settling accounts of early departures.
• Prepare reports to reflect the trading result of the property on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Providing supervision and support to the Front Office team and other departments when required.
• Control after-hours access to the property.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with a property management system. Preferably Opera Cloud.
• Exceptional customer service skills, communication and time management skills.
• A friendly and outgoing personality.
• Proven ability to work unsupervised.
• A willingness to use initiative and strong problem solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills with a high level of computer literacy and accuracy.
• Ability to work late evening shifts 11pm – 7am.
• Be reliable and flexible with the ability to work all shifts including nights and weekends.
