Job summary

BG&E in Newcastle is seeking a senior business-development leader to shape and deliver our growth strategy across the region. You will work with the Regional Director in Sydney to build trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for sustainable growth in Newcastle and surrounds.

You’ll join an established team across buildings, bridges and transport, with scope to expand into facades and mining.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in business development or leadership roles in the engineering sector.
• Proven ability to build trust and win work with clients in Newcastle and surrounding regions.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
• Civil or structural engineering background is valuable and enhances client credibility.
• Inclusive, collaborative leadership style with a track record of developing teams and partners.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the Newcastle growth strategy in partnership with the Regional Director in Sydney.
