Job summary

Synergy Asset Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Building Manager / Team Leader for Newcastle & Hunter (Strata). The role combines hands-on onsite management of a landmark mixed-use development with regional leadership to grow Synergy’s footprint across Newcastle and the Hunter Region.

The incumbent will mobilize the project from construction handover through occupation, supported by an Assistant Building Manager and on-site team.

Qualifications

• Five+ years hands-on strata/BMC building management experience.
• Experience establishing and onboarding newly completed strata developments.
• Leadership experience with coaching staff and performance management.
• Knowledge of strata operations, BMCs, shared facilities and multiple owners associations.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobilization and operational setup of a landmark mixed-use development from handover to occupation.
• Establish preventative maintenance schedules, asset registers and procedures.
• Coordinate resident move-ins, access arrangements, contractor management and defect resolution.
• Maintain daily oversight of building presentation, safety, fire compliance, WHS, and budget reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with BMCs, Owners Corporations and occupants.
• Mentor the Assistant Building Manager and on-site service teams.
