Job summary

SYSTRA is seeking a senior business-development leader to shape and deliver growth in Newcastle. You’ll work closely with the Sydney Regional Director to build client relationships and identify opportunities across buildings, bridges and transport.

With a background in civil or structural engineering and ~15+ years of experience, you’ll contribute strategically, oversee key projects, and help grow our Newcastle presence while leveraging our Sydney support network.

Qualifications

• Established client relationships and a strong track record in winning work.
• Commercial judgement and ability to translate strategy into action.
• Experience leading business development and client leadership.
• Civil or structural engineering background or credible client-facing credibility.
• Inclusive, collaborative approach to growing a business and supporting teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver the Newcastle growth strategy with the Sydney Regional Director.
• Develop trusted client relationships and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
